Overview

Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is looking for a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join their team in Carbondale, Illinois. This role involves providing advanced cardiac care and collaborating with a team of leading cardiologists and surgeons to treat patients with complex cardiac conditions.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide advanced cardiac care to patients
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and surgeons
  • Manage patients across the care continuum
  • Participate in a weekly Monday to Friday schedule
  • Engage in call duty for 5 weekends a year

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or anatomy
  • Experience in patient management
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Illinois
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation (preferred)
  • Controlled Substance license (preferred)
  • Federal DEA license (preferred)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (preferred)
