Overview

MCM & Associates LLC is seeking a Cardiology Physician Assistant to join their cardiology team at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL. This full-time position involves working alongside board-certified cardiologists to provide care for patients with cardiovascular conditions, primarily in outpatient settings, while managing chronic cardiac conditions and assisting with patient education.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments and cardiac evaluations
  • Manage chronic cardiac conditions such as CHF, CAD, arrhythmias, and post-MI care
  • Assist with medication management, lifestyle counseling, and patient education
  • Collaborate with cardiologists to monitor and adjust treatment plans
  • Support post-discharge follow-up and transitional care

Required skills

  • Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Illinois
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with cardiology experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in cardiology or internal medicine preferred
  • ACLS and BLS certification required
