Overview

A leading healthcare organization in New Haven, Connecticut, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Cardiac Electrophysiology team. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care and managing follow-up care, while collaborating closely with physicians and the broader care team.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide care to electrophysiology patients in the EP clinic
  • Manage implantable cardiac devices, including pacemakers and defibrillators
  • Oversee treatment plans for arrhythmia patients
  • Conduct telephone triage to support patients
  • Assist administrative staff with prior authorizations and peer-to-peer reviews
  • Support physicians with inpatient consultations and care coordination

Required skills

  • Active Connecticut state license
  • DEA and CSR (active or in process preferred)
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program
  • 1 year of cardiology experience; electrophysiology experience preferred

What the company offers
