Overview

WhiteCoat Locums is seeking a Cardiology Physician Assistant for a locum tenens position in Dayton, Ohio. The role involves providing inpatient Electrophysiology (EP) coverage and managing a list of patients while collaborating with EP physicians and other cardiology APPs.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and round on an inpatient list of EP patients daily
  • See and independently bill on follow-up patients
  • See and present new consults to the EP physician
  • Maintain a working understanding of cardiac device checks

Required skills

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) credential
  • Board Certified status
  • Minimum of 1 year experience, preferably in Cardiology/EP
  • Active Ohio State License
  • Active ACLS, BLS, DEA, and CSR licenses
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
