Overview

Archbold Medical Center is seeking a Cardiology Physician Assistant to join the Cardiovascular Consultants of South Georgia. This full-time role focuses on outpatient care while also involving occasional hospital responsibilities. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a supportive team to provide quality patient-centered care in cardiology.

Key responsibilities

  • Function as an extension of the physician in diagnosing and developing treatment plans
  • Perform clinical assessments and evaluations
  • Manage time and priorities effectively
  • Apply critical thinking skills in patient care
  • Maintain excellent interpersonal communication with patients and team members

Required skills

  • Experience in cardiology (highly preferred)
  • Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Georgia
  • National certification
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Strong clinical assessment skills
  • Effective time management and critical thinking skills
  • Interpersonal communication skills
