Overview

A growing medical group in Derby, Connecticut is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a position within an electrophysiology setting. This role is based in an acute care not-for-profit hospital known for its high patient satisfaction and quality care, affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine.

Key responsibilities

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities in the stress lab, CCTA, Cardiac MRIs, and hospital consults
  • Manage implantable cardiac devices, including pacemakers and defibrillators, in the inpatient setting
  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with arrhythmias, including drug therapy and anticoagulation management
  • Support hospital cardiology and electrophysiology teams with consultations and care coordination

Required skills

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Active Connecticut license
  • Cardiology experience
  • Electrophysiology experience preferred
