Overview

A growing medical group in Derby, Connecticut is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in an electrophysiology setting. The group is a not-for-profit community hospital recognized for high patient satisfaction and clinical excellence, affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine.

Key responsibilities

  • Full-time, permanent position with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
  • Conduct stress lab procedures, CCTA, and Cardiac MRI
  • Perform hospital consults and H&Ps for Cardiac Electrophysiology surgeries
  • Manage implantable cardiac devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators
  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with arrhythmias
  • Support cardiology and electrophysiology teams with inpatient consultations and care coordination

Required skills

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Active CT license
  • Experience in cardiology
  • Preferred experience in electrophysiology
