Overview

GHR Healthcare is seeking a Cardiology Physician to provide inpatient care focusing on advanced heart failure and heart transplant management in Spokane, WA. This locum tenens position involves a schedule of 7 consecutive days of work per month, with responsibilities that include patient care, call coverage, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver inpatient care for patients with advanced heart failure and heart transplants
  • Participate in night call coverage, including facility callbacks
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
  • Support ongoing excellence and growth of the cardiology department

Required skills

  • Active Washington State medical license
  • Board certification in Cardiology
  • Fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in heart failure and transplant cardiology
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Ability to take night call and respond to facility callbacks
