Overview

The Hudson Valley Health Care System is looking for an experienced non-invasive Cardiologist to join their team in Castle Point, NY. The role involves interpreting EKGs in outpatient cardiology settings and participating in various cardiology services, while also engaging in patient evaluation and management.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in daily ambulatory/outpatient Cardiology clinic services
  • Interpret EKGs for cardiology, primary care, geriatric, and behavioral health clinics
  • Interpret transthoracic echocardiograms and ambulatory monitors
  • Conduct exercise and pharmacologic stress testing
  • Manage Holter monitors and electrocardiogram interpretation
  • Evaluate patients and make treatment decisions
  • Document patient information in electronic records
  • Serve on service level and hospital committees as needed
  • Participate in facility peer review program
