Job Description

Overview

The Hudson Valley Health Care System is looking for an experienced non-invasive Cardiologist (M.D. or D.O) to join their team. The role involves providing outpatient cardiology services, interpreting EKGs, and managing various cardiology-related procedures and patient evaluations.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in daily ambulatory/outpatient cardiology clinic services
  • Interpret EKGs for the cardiology, primary care, geriatric, and behavioral health clinics
  • Conduct transthoracic echocardiograms and ambulatory monitors
  • Perform exercise and pharmacologic stress testing
  • Manage arrhythmias and document treatment decisions
  • Serve on service level and/or hospital committees as needed
  • Participate in the facility peer review program
  • Maintain professional competency and provide necessary services
