Job Description

Overview

The Hudson Valley Health Care System is seeking an experienced non-invasive Cardiologist (M.D. or D.O) to join their team in New York. This position involves participating in outpatient Cardiology clinic services, interpreting various cardiology tests, and taking an active role in patient evaluation and care management.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in daily ambulatory/outpatient Cardiology clinic services
  • Interpret EKGs for Cardiology, primary care, geriatric, and behavioral health clinics
  • Interpret transthoracic echocardiograms and ambulatory monitors
  • Conduct exercise ECGs and exercise stress echocardiograms
  • Perform exercise and pharmacologic stress testing
  • Interpret Holter monitors and electrocardiograms
  • Diagnose and manage arrhythmias
  • Document in the patient electronic records
  • Serve on hospital committees and participate in peer review programs
  • Maintain professionalism and service delivery in the specialty
