Overview

Jackson and Coker Locum Tenens is seeking a Cardiology Interventional Physician Assistant for a locum position in Syracuse, New York from June 1 to October 2. The role involves providing day and evening coverage in an inpatient ICU and step-down unit, supporting critical care with a focus on adult patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient care in ICU and step-down units
  • Work autonomously with a supervising physician
  • Manage a patient volume of up to 10 patients per day
  • Perform required procedures including central line placement, arterial line placement, chest tube placement, and wound vac changes
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation

Required skills

  • ACLS certification
