Overview

OSF HealthCare's Cardiovascular Institute is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their team in Bloomington, Illinois. The practice is part of a larger network serving the central Midwest with a focus on comprehensive cardiovascular care including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart disease.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in accordance with established practices and protocols
  • Collaborate with a team of over 40 cardiologists and 17 area hospitals
  • Participate in STEMI call duties
  • Maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges
  • Comply with federal and state requirements for prescribing narcotics

Required skills

  • Doctorate degree in medicine
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Illinois
  • Board certified or board eligible in cardiology
  • Experience with EPIC EMR
  • Skills in surgical procedures and medical diagnostics
