Overview

Saint Agnes Medical Center is seeking a full-time Cardiac Rad Technologist for the Cath Lab in Fresno, California. This role involves performing various specialized invasive cardiovascular procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease while providing patient care and assisting physicians during these procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform specialized invasive cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Conduct routine and specialized radiographic procedures
  • Provide patient care and assistance to physicians during procedures

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a two (2) year accredited program in Radiology Technology
  • One (1) year experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred
  • Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification with Fluoroscopy permit
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card
  • Basic arrhythmia recognition course completion within six (6) months of hire
  • American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Radiography preferred
  • Knowledge of basic physics, anatomy/physiology, biology, math
  • Familiarity with contrast media, radiation physics, anatomy, and radiographic positioning
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot radiographic and support equipment
