Overview

SSM Health is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join their Cath Lab team in Madison, Wisconsin. This full-time role involves assisting with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system, while ensuring proper patient care and equipment maintenance.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for procedures and review medical history.
  • Monitor patients prior to, during, and after procedures.
  • Interpret, describe, and report test results.
  • Maintain equipment and clean lab area.
  • Perform point of care testing as per policies.
  • Ensure equipment functionality and report malfunctions.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and safety.

Required skills

  • Completion of a Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certification
  • ARRT-R Radiography Certification or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification
