Job Description

Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a part-time, casual Cardiac Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to assist Interventional Cardiologists at Dublin Methodist Hospital. This role involves providing diagnostic and interventional support while ensuring patient care and safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Interventional Cardiologist during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor, scrub, and circulate in the Cath Lab
  • Greet patients, check charts for required data, and explain procedures
  • Report any absences or abnormalities to RN/physician
  • Participate in room turnover and patient transport
  • Assist Radiation Safety officer in quality assurance of labs and protective apparel

Required skills

  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • ARRT Registered - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • BLS - Basic Life Support certification
  • Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Ohio
  • Knowledge of X-ray equipment and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Familiarity with coronary and peripheral anatomy
  • Experience with sterile technique
