Key responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to resolve billing inquiries and product questions
  • Apply telephone-based techniques to retain customers and upsell services
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism and courtesy in every interaction
  • Achieve activity goals by following call handling metrics
  • Master order processing within the billing system for retained accounts and new sales entries
  • Explain Spectrum's products and services while comparing them to competitors
  • Support efforts to enhance the customer experience

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cable communications products and services
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to apply customer solutions and sales techniques
  • Effective computer skills and familiarity with software applications
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle irate customers and resolve issues
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
