Overview

As a Call Center Sales Representative at Spectrum, you will engage with customers to resolve issues, retain valued clients, and upsell services. This role requires effective communication and sales techniques, along with a commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to resolve billing inquiries, product questions, and service complaints
  • Apply telephone-based techniques to retain customers and upsell Spectrum's products
  • Maintain professionalism and courtesy in customer interactions
  • Achieve and exceed activity goals by following call handling metrics
  • Master order processing within the billing system for retained accounts and new sales entries
  • Explain Spectrum's products and services effectively compared to competitors
  • Support efforts to enhance the customer experience through every transaction

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Knowledge of cable communications products and services (TV, internet, voice)
  • 2+ years of call center experience in customer service or phone sales
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to handle irate customers and resolve issues
  • Computer skills and proficiency in relevant software applications, including billing systems
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
