Overview

West Coast University is seeking a Call Center Representative to join their collaborative and student-centric team in Irvine, California. This role revolves around providing outstanding customer service to prospective students and assisting in their inquiries, while also supporting the admissions process through effective call handling and data entry.

Key responsibilities

  • Answer a high volume of inbound calls and outbound dials
  • Provide customer service to prospective students, co-workers, and executives
  • Receive and screen inbound calls, routing them appropriately
  • Follow scripts based on calls and perform data entry of personal information
  • Make outbound calls using a Telephone Automatic dialing system for inquiries
  • Schedule Info-Sessions and appointments for prospective students
  • Take appropriate information for Career Service Employer calls
  • Monitor multiple queues and review invalid inquiries

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years' customer service experience preferred
  • Experience as a Call Center or Customer Service Representative
  • Experience handling high volume telephone calls with courtesy and accuracy
  • Telephone Auto Dialing System experience preferred
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required
