Overview

Securitas Technology is seeking a Call Center Operator to work in their 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. This full-time position involves managing alarm events, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring prompt communication with emergency services when necessary. Operators will be responsible for responding to incoming alarm signals, answering multi-line phone systems, and performing data entry with precision.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming alarm signals in accordance with documented procedures
  • Notify authorities and contacts as necessary during alarm events
  • Log information accurately into the automation system
  • Answer multi-line telephone calls promptly
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer information
  • Perform duties with a high degree of urgency and accuracy

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years' work experience preferred
  • Ability to type 30+ words per minute
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
