Overview

Securitas Technology is seeking a Call Center Agent to work in their 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role involves responding to alarm signals, managing alarm events, and ensuring proper communication with emergency services and customers, similar to that of a 911 dispatcher.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming alarm signals according to procedures
  • Log information into the automation system accurately
  • Operate a multi-line telephone system
  • Notify authorities and contact lists when appropriate
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information
  • Prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years' work experience preferred
  • Typing speed of 30+ words per minute
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to urgency and accuracy
