Overview

Jacquet West Inc is seeking a CAD Programmer to support their sales efforts in Santa Fe Springs, California. The role focuses on programming, inventory control, and scheduling for cutting machines while ensuring quality and communication across teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Be proficient in 2D AutoCAD Lantek software
  • Create flat patterns for water jet and plasma cutting
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and records
  • Provide check drawings for quality control
  • Communicate daily schedules and issues
  • Minimize scrap through nesting software
  • Assist with month-end inventory reports
  • Read and understand basic blueprints and drawings
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with the team

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in AutoCAD 2D
  • Familiarity with Lantek software
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
