Overview

Hotel Equities is seeking a Cabinkeeper for the Postcard Cabins in Meadville, MS. The role involves cleaning and preparing cabins and public areas to maintain cleanliness and ensure guest satisfaction, all while providing warm and knowledgeable service.

Key responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean assigned cabins and public areas to meet cleanliness standards
  • Wipe and clean windows, doors, walls, and floors
  • Wash shower walls, tubs, and clean toilets and sinks
  • Replace linen, toiletries, and collateral in cabins
  • Inspect room equipment and report maintenance deficiencies
  • Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with cleaning standards from hotel brands such as Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Wyndham
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning principles and products
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem-solving and training abilities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
