What You'll Get to Do Install kitchen and bathroom cabinetry accurately and efficiently according to project specifications.Install crown molding, trim, fillers, panels, hardware, and other finish components.Read and accurately execute floor plans, elevations, measurements, and installation details.Ensure cabinetry is properly aligned, leveled, secured, and finished to Norfolk's quality standards.Identify installation challenges and work with the Project Manager to develop practical solutions.Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, countertop installers, and other trades to keep projects moving efficiently.Maintain professional and respectful communication with customers while working in their homes.Protect customers' homes and maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite throughout the installation process.Complete installations with strong attention to detail and address punch-list items as needed. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of residential cabinetry, finish carpentry, or remodeling experience.Demonstrated hands-on experience with cabinet installation.Strong experience installing crown molding, trim, and finish carpentry components.Ability to read and interpret floor plans, elevations, measurements, and installation details.Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve installation issues in the field.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Project Managers and other trades.Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including working from heights. Nice-to-Haves Experience installing cabinetry for kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects.Experience working in occupied residential homes.Prior experience working as part of a two-person installation crew.Experience coordinating with countertop installers, plumbers, electricians, and other trades.Comfort using technology for communication, project updates, and job tracking.
