Job Description

Overview

The Buyer at EIS Legacy will manage day-to-day purchasing activities and ensure timely delivery of products and services to internal customers. This role requires strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier sourcing, contract management, and utilizing ERP/MRP systems.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute daily transactions including purchase orders
  • Ensure compliance with processes and procedures for ordering
  • Manage purchase orders from requisition to goods receipt
  • Procure goods and services at competitive prices and quantities
  • Oversee procurement processes to optimize inventory levels
  • Develop long-term partnerships with suppliers
  • Communicate price changes and manage supplier relationships
  • Participate in supplier evaluations and scorecards

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business or Supply Chain Management
  • Three or more years of relevant experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience with Oracle and/or SAP
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
