Job Description

Overview

The Buyer at EIS Legacy will be responsible for executing day-to-day purchasing transactions and ensuring the delivery of products and services to internal customers. This role includes managing local supplier sourcing, pricing negotiation, and contract management while aligning with business activities to drive centralized procurement efforts.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day purchase orders and transactions
  • Ensure compliance with procurement processes and procedures
  • Manage purchase orders from requisition to goods receipt
  • Procure goods and services at competitive prices
  • Maintain inventory levels and manage supplier non-conformance
  • Develop long-term partnerships with suppliers
  • Participate in supplier evaluations and scorecards
  • Provide timely responses to supplier inquiries
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business or Supply Chain Management
  • Three or more years of experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Oracle and/or SAP expertise
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
