Job Description

Overview

Cumru Township is looking for an experienced Business/Finance Administrator to manage the Township's financial system. This role will involve budgeting, financial reporting, and overseeing cash flow and investments, reporting directly to the Township Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Township Manager in budgeting and capital programming
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Oversee Township reserves and investments
  • Manage cash flow
  • Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist with audits
  • Perform other business and financial tasks as assigned

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 3 years of experience in financial management
  • Municipal financial management experience preferred
  • Ability to be bonded
  • Knowledge of computer-based accounting systems
  • Knowledge of GAAP and GASB guidelines

What the company offers

  • Salary range of $95,000 to $115,000 DOQ
