Business Systems Analyst IIlocation: PORTLAND, OR, US, 97232 Company: PacifiCorp POWER YOUR GREATNESS! General Purpose Conducts analysis of business systems through research, gathering and interpretation of data, development of alternatives and recommendations. Presents technical analysis and recommendations to management and may recommend alternatives. Works with business unit and IT to work through systems implementations, upgrades and problem resolution. Analyses include, but are not limited to, feasibility studies, cost/benefit analysis, trending/forecasting, financial analysis, budget analysis and reporting. Responsibilities Promote a customer first culture and commit to delivering outstanding results for customers.Formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and analysis using understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.Provide systems administration and process execution of management and maintenance systems.Develop or modify information systems to meet business needs.Document user and system requirements and revises existing system logic difficulties as necessaryCoordinate and ensure quality and integrity of input data into operational and forecast systems.Provide data analysis for development and maintenance of modeling and reporting systems. Create tools to automate processes involving input and extraction of data and both regular and ad hoc reports. Analyze output data and reports and provide interpretation and concise communication of results. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, IT or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience providing financial data analysis and management for development and maintenance of business based information management systems.Knowledge of data gathering, analysis, forecasting, and modeling techniques.Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations. Ability to deliver to project timelines, budgets and specifications.Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to interface with team members and customers to promote positive customer outcomes.Proficient with the use of personal computers including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications to gather, analyze, and model information.Excellent oral and communication skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment.
