Overview

As a Business Sales Representative on Spectrum's SMB team, you will engage in outbound B2B sales efforts by promoting Spectrum Business Internet, Voice, Video, and Mobile solutions to prospective customers. This dynamic role focuses on building relationships with business decision-makers, identifying their needs, and delivering tailored solutions to meet those needs, all while achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Initiate outbound calls to new and existing business prospects
  • Build relationships with decision-makers to expand services
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
  • Present customized proposals and handle objections
  • Maintain accurate records in sales and customer databases
  • Deliver professional and courteous customer experiences
  • Demonstrate resilience while handling escalated situations

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in sales or business is a plus
  • Experience in a consultative sales role or proven success in similar roles
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting sales targets
  • Proficiency in using personal computers and MS Office
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools
  • Understanding of the cable and telecommunications market
