Overview

As a Business Sales Representative for Spectrum's SMB team in Charlotte, North Carolina, you will engage in outbound B2B sales by promoting various Spectrum Business solutions. This role emphasizes building relationships with business decision-makers, understanding their needs, and presenting customized solutions to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Initiate outbound calls to promote Spectrum Business solutions to new and existing prospects
  • Build relationships with decision-makers to identify sales opportunities
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and activity benchmarks
  • Present tailored proposals and educate customers on Spectrum's offerings
  • Maintain accurate sales and customer databases
  • Deliver high levels of professional customer service and satisfaction
  • Handle escalated situations effectively while adapting to changing priorities

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in sales or business is a plus
  • 2+ years experience in a consultative sales role or equivalent education and experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and navigate software applications effectively
  • Emotional resilience and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Goal-oriented with proven success in meeting sales targets
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools
  • Experience in B2B sales or telecommunications preferred
