Overview

Ciena Health Care Management, Inc. is seeking a Business Office Manager for the Regency at Whitmore Lake. This role involves overseeing office functions related to skilled nursing accounts receivable and providing support for billing and insurance inquiries.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage facility accounts receivable system
  • Record daily collections of cash receipts and deposit to appropriate accounts
  • Establish and maintain communication with patients and families regarding payments
  • Generate timely billing for claims from various payer classes
  • Review Medicare, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid records
  • Record deposits and withdrawals in Resident Trust
  • Close Resident Trust accounts promptly and complete monthly bank reconciliation
  • Process Medicaid applications
