Overview

The Goddard School is seeking a Business Manager (General Manager) to oversee the daily operations of their early childhood education center in Brighton, Colorado. This role requires a business-minded leader responsible for enrollment growth, marketing strategies, financial management, and maintaining a high-quality family experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive enrollment growth and family acquisition.
  • Manage the entire enrollment funnel including lead generation and conversion.
  • Design and execute a comprehensive annual marketing plan.
  • Manage the school's digital presence and local community marketing.
  • Oversee daily business operations and financial management.
  • Analyze data to identify cost drivers and growth opportunities.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain teaching staff.
  • Ensure compliance with childcare licensing regulations and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for enrolled families.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of management experience with P&L ownership
  • Demonstrated success in growing a customer base
  • Strong financial literacy including budgeting and accounting
  • Proven marketing experience with digital and local lead generation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Highly organized and data-driven
  • Comfort with business technology including CRM and payroll tools
  • Experience in early childhood education or a franchise environment
