Overview

Clambake Club of Newport is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Manager to lead and oversee the club's operations. This new position aims to inform the Board of Governors regarding financial positions and improve existing procedures for organizational growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager on financial responsibilities
  • Direct financial operations, policies, and internal controls
  • Oversee daily operations for efficiency and productivity
  • Manage all accounting functions including payroll, A/P, A/R, fixed assets, billing and inventory
  • Create and manage profit & loss statements, budgets, and financial planning
  • Coordinate project management activities for timely initiative delivery
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities for strategic decisions
