Overview

As a Business Director at Capital One, you will leverage your strategic and analytical skills to address key company challenges and collaborate with a talented team. You will define and shape the strategic agenda for Card Technology, working closely with the Divisional CIO to unlock opportunities and solve complex problems in technology and business.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop business strategies for growth, profitability, and competitive success.
  • Manage and mentor a team of analysts to retain talent.
  • Lead product and pricing strategy development for lending products.
  • Execute business intent and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Collaborate with various divisions including IT, Sales, and Finance to ensure improvements in quality and service.
  • Utilize analytics for decision making and problem-solving.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of quantitative and qualitative analysis experience
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Strong foundation in corporate strategy or management consulting
  • Experience in financial services and consulting preferred
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
