G SQUARED FUNDING LLC is a rapidly growing Asset Based Lending and Factoring company in Atlanta, specializing in the transportation sector. They are seeking a Business Development Officer to generate leads and build relationships with clients, aiming to exceed sales targets while thriving in a competitive environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate new leads for sales by explaining factoring services.
  • Prospect for new clients through networking and cold calling.
  • Develop rapport with clients and set sales targets.
  • Create a strategic plan to develop a sales pipeline.
  • Research and build relationships with potential clients.
  • Collaborate with Client Relations Managers to meet customer needs.
  • Arrange and participate in client debriefs.
  • Submit progress reports and ensure data accuracy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.

Required skills

  • College Degree
  • 0-5 years work experience
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Strong phone skills and comfort with cold calling
  • Competitive nature
  • Experience in financial/banking industry (a plus)
