Overview

LoanBud is a growing company focused on empowering small businesses by providing essential financing, particularly through SBA loans. As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for building relationships with referral partners, marketing and originating loans, and ensuring small businesses secure the funding they need to thrive.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners
  • Prospect, market, structure, and originate new SBA and other business loans
  • Establish and maintain a network of referral sources for SBA borrowers
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of SBA products and competitor offerings
  • Achieve a minimum funded volume of $1MM per month
  • Assist small businesses nationwide in securing funding

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales
  • Knowledge of SBA lending
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in sales persuasion, active listening, and time management
  • Strong product knowledge and relationship-building skills
  • Critical thinking and strategic planning abilities
  • Familiarity with SBA loan programs and business loans
