Overview

First Resource Bank is seeking a Business Development Officer (BDO) to join their team in West Chester, Pennsylvania. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships within local communities, specifically targeting business customers to grow deposit relationships and achieve annual growth goals. Ideal candidates should be passionate about connecting with businesses and delivering tailored financial solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, acquire, and grow new deposit relationships with business customers
  • Maintain documentation of deposit growth efforts and results
  • Manage all phases of the sales process, including lead identification and proposal preparation
  • Strengthen existing customer relationships through product and service expansion
  • Collaborate with colleagues for new strategies and marketing efforts
  • Engage proactively with the community through volunteerism and networking
  • Provide backup support for team members at the branch
  • Travel locally at least 50% of the time for prospect meetings and events

Required skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
