Overview

The Business Development Manager for Gilchrist & Soames, a division of Guest Worldwide, is focused on generating revenue by acquiring new accounts and expanding business within existing customer bases. The role involves strategic planning, relationship building, and collaboration with internal teams to successfully grow the sales of personal care amenities.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and target new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to grow sales within existing and new market segments.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Marketing for new brand development.
  • Prepare and present product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Negotiate pricing and manage customer onboarding.
  • Utilize CRM systems to document sales activities and manage pipelines.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
  • Over five years of sales experience focused on New Business Development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve customer needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce CRM.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
