Job Description

Overview

The Business Development Manager for Gilchrist & Soames, a division of Sysco, is primarily focused on acquiring new business accounts and expanding existing customer relationships within the personal care amenities market. This role involves strategic planning, relationship management, and collaboration with internal teams to support sales growth and product innovation.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and customer relations for major accounts.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities to exceed sales goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow sales in existing and new markets.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Marketing for new brand innovations.
  • Present product features, negotiate pricing, and manage customer onboarding.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
  • Minimum of five years of sales experience in New Business Development.
