Job Description

Overview

The Business Development Manager for Gilchrist & Soames, a division of Guest Worldwide, is responsible for generating revenue through the acquisition of new accounts and expanding existing customer business. This role involves strategic planning, relationship building, and collaboration with various internal teams to develop and sell personal care amenities in the travel and leisure industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow sales in existing and new market segments.
  • Work with Product Development and Marketing to create new brands and innovations.
  • Prepare and present product demonstrations and sales presentations.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms while managing the onboarding of new customers.
  • Utilize CRM tools to document sales activities and pipeline development.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
  • Five or more years of sales experience focused on New Business Development.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong follow-up and relationship management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce CRM.
