Job Description

Overview

Securemedy Inc is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand its presence in the Washington DC metropolitan area. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic relationships, and managing proposals for armed and unarmed security services across various sectors.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead business development activities throughout DC, MD, and VA
  • Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, facility directors, and government agencies
  • Identify and pursue new contract opportunities through networking and market research
  • Coordinate and manage responses to RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations
  • Prepare presentations and pricing proposals
  • Attend industry events and represent Securemedy
  • Collaborate with operations personnel for contract implementation and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular reports on opportunities
  • Meet established growth and revenue objectives

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of five years of business development or sales experience
  • Experience in the security services industry
  • Knowledge of commercial, residential, healthcare, and government security environments
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel throughout the DMV area
