Overview

Brown & Brown Inc is looking for an Associate Business Development Leader to join their Client Services department in Fort Wayne, IN. This foundational sales role provides an opportunity to learn essential sales processes while assisting a dedicated Business Development Leader in managing renewal accounts and prospecting for new business leads.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and processing of renewal business accounts
  • Identify qualifying prospects within assigned territory
  • Develop insurance proposals to brokers
  • Interpret broker feedback and suggest modifications to terms
  • Evaluate service requests from brokers/clients
  • Perform other assigned job-related duties

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Insurance & Risk Management, Sales, or Business Management preferred
  • Possess or obtain Indiana Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses upon hire
  • Experience in consulting, corporate strategy, or insurance sales
  • Skills in customer relationship management and lead generation
