Job Description

Overview

As a Business Account Executive at Spectrum, you will be responsible for driving growth and connecting small businesses with innovative communication solutions. This field-based role involves engaging with prospective clients, selling Spectrum's voice, data, video, and mobile services, and managing the sales process from prospecting to closing.

Key responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business sales within an assigned territory
  • Conduct consultative needs analysis with prospective customers
  • Identify and offer tailored solutions for small business communication needs
  • Achieve sales and product targets by managing sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities
  • Collaborate with other business teams to ensure timely order execution
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions as directed by management

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years sales experience or telecom/technical industry experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Valid state driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
