Overview

The Business Account Executive at Spectrum focuses on driving growth by delivering communication solutions to small business clients. This role involves engaging with businesses, conducting needs analyses, and maintaining accurate sales records while collaborating with other teams to ensure excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business sales within assigned territory
  • Conduct consultative needs analyses for clients
  • Achieve sales and product targets across various services
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and closed deals
  • Collaborate with other business groups for order execution
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions
  • Simplify and enhance customer experience through communication

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
  • 2+ years of sales experience or telecom/technical industry experience
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to manage sales and administrative tasks
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems (SalesForce)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Business-to-business outside sales experience preferred
  • Valid and active State driver's license
