Overview

Transdev is seeking an experienced Bus Operator in Merced, California, to provide safe and comfortable transportation for passengers while delivering exemplary customer service. The role includes navigating designated routes and adhering to safety protocols as part of a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute operations by following designated routes and schedules while adhering to safety protocols
  • Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers during boarding, rides, and disembarkation
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
  • Enforce safety policies, including seat belt use and emergency response
  • Adhere strictly to company policies and traffic regulations

Required skills

  • Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules
  • Knowledge of safety management and traffic regulations
