Job Description

Overview

Transdev is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to join their team in Phoenix, AZ, focused on ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for passengers while delivering top-notch customer service. This role involves operating buses, following strict safety protocols, and maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
  • Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers during boarding, rides, and disembarkation.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report maintenance issues.
  • Enforce company policies, including seat belt use and emergency response readiness.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements, or CDL permit with ability to obtain endorsement
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules as needed
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and traffic regulations
