Transdev is seeking an experienced CDL Bus Driver in Knoxville, TN, who will be responsible for ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for passengers while delivering high standards of professionalism and customer service. The position offers a $1500 sign-on bonus and competitive pay, with a range of employee benefits available for full-time staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
  • Exhibit exceptional care towards passengers, ensuring smooth boarding and timely disembarkation.
  • Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
  • Uphold company policies regarding seat belt enforcement, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness of safety equipment.

Required skills

  • Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • Adherence to DOT regulations and passing drug screening
