Overview

The Buildings & Grounds role at Metalcraft of Mayville in Beaver Dam focuses on maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the facility while supporting the Safety and Maintenance Departments. This position also involves operating a forklift and participating in various maintenance tasks to ensure safety compliance within the workplace.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the inside/outside appearance of the building and grounds
  • Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and complete work
  • Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve maintenance/safety issues
  • Use general maintenance tools as needed for tasks/repairs
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards
  • Participate in equipment preventative maintenance
  • Lead 6S projects related to safety/housekeeping tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned
