Overview

The Building Supervisor at La Porte County Family YMCA is responsible for ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for members and guests. This role includes monitoring programs, addressing member needs, overseeing safety protocols, and acting as the point of contact in the absence of branch leadership.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure safety and cleanliness of the facility
  • Monitor programs and activities for adherence to policies
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to members
  • Conduct regular safety tours of the facility
  • Serve as a first responder in emergencies
  • Assist in opening and closing procedures
  • Ensure staff are fulfilling their assigned duties
  • Address facility issues and report to supervisors
