Overview

Vergers Leahy Inc. is seeking a Building Services Technician to maintain and optimize various building services systems within the company, which specializes in apple and fruit purée production. This role ensures compliance with quality, safety, and food safety standards while providing support to the maintenance team and external contractors in a dynamic work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with food quality and safety standards and company policies
  • Perform daily inspections and maintenance of building systems
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of infrastructure
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of mechanical equipment and rooms
  • Document and report maintenance activities in the management system
  • Propose improvements to increase energy efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with maintenance team for program optimization
  • Serve as backup for the Wastewater Treatment Technician and participate in on-call duties

Required skills

  • Construction and Building Maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of HVAC Systems
