The position will be point of contact between Property Management and the Engineering Team to facilitate high-quality building services, resolving work orders and communicating with vendors for specific needs. Company provides outstanding benefits, great PTO, 401K and matching, and MORE!Responsibilities include:Walking properties to identify potential maintenance issues, before they become an issueResponding to tenant concernsSpeaking with tenants face to face to understand their work order needsTroubleshooting plumbing and potential electrical needsCommunicating with engineers in regard to: general facilities, electrical, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, etc.Scheduling preventative maintenanceManaging building engineering/facilities communication between Engineers, tenants and ownershipSpeaking with vendors for TI and Construction CapEx projectsWorking with vendors on various projects, and following upTracking work order statusCommunicating with Property Managers and teamEnsuring landscaping is well keptReviewing proposals for vendors to select vendors, alongside the Property ManagerSetting up for special events and property projects, as neededAssisting with specialty projectsSpecial Skills:Ability to work well with othersStrong people skillsMust Have:3+ years of Building Engineering or Facilities Management with extensive technical knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and roofingMust have commercial property management experience - not able to take someone from residentialMust have experience and knowledge in chillers, boilers, and refrigerationExperience in working with external vendors Company Description TORP Group is a recruitment firm that specializes in placing in: Property and Real Estate Management, Administrative Support, Accounting, Construction Project Management, and Project Coordination.
